Arctic Single Malt Whisky
Aurora Spirit Distillery has collaborated with Moltzau Packaging since 2023, mainly on development and printing of whisky packaging.
Bivrost Yggdrasil Arctic Single Malt Whisky is the first core range whisky series by the world’s northernmost distillery, located in the Arctic, Norway. The whisky is made of nordic brew malt, glacier water, and goes through a complex fermentation process. It is matured in Oloroso casks and barrels the distillery has charred itself, in a Viking ship-inspired warehouse.
The name Yggdrasil draws inspiration from Norse mythology and runes, and expresses a deep connection to Nordic heritage and nature. This is the distillery’s first core range whisky, a permanent part of the lineup that represents a breakthrough for Bivrost® in the single malt category.
